I’m surprised this one by Toronto based Pairanoid has been flying a little under the radar on Uprise Music. Although the label has shown their mastery for grimey, forward thinking bass house and trap tunes, Paranoid marks the beginning of more indie-dance vibes on the imprint. Similar to SNBRN or Lost Kings – both of which had massive successes in 2015 – Paranoid is continually making a name for themselves in the radio-ready, sunset-house world. Their momentum builds with every original, and the light-hearted progressive house cut ‘Carry On’ could be their best track to date.
