Once again Bryan Kearney blows us away with his skill for incorporating driving rhythms and infectious samples. This time he joins forces with talented Will Rees and the result is a classic example of how the ‘creative power of imagination’ is unlimited if you know how to use it.

The masters at work decided to go for a powerful, underground but not luscious melody enriched with a twisted, hard drop. A brilliant arrangement follows; a cleverly used vocal embellishment blended with hypnotic acid riffs creating a peak time crossover track with a quite impressive breakdown made to force you to the dance-floor in order to feel pure Tech-Trance energy!

Seeing as Kearney has been experimenting with psy-trance a lot in his sets, it’s no surprise that his first foray into the production-side of the genre with Will Rees was a success. “Prime Example” takes on a more traditional, 4/4 psy-trance bassline, while using a familiar vocal sample that many will recognize from Flume’s “Holdin’ On.” Following the breakdown, the collaborators add in some progressive elements and a pluck that makes listeners want jump to the rhythm. The end result is a versatile track that will be an instant hit for the trance community upon its June 29 release under Kearnage.
