Jerome Isma-Ae & Strobe - Vila Nova

Jerome Isma-Ae and long-time friend and producer Roy Stroebel aka Strobe have teamed up to rework the dance classic ‘Vila Nova’, first released in 1997 by Timo Maas and Martin Buttrich under their Orinoko alias.

Listening to this on a cold, wet November evening the light and breezy guitar strings and soothing vocals gives a sense of warm serenity. The gentle beat when it arrives is complimentary, and the track pleasingly flows as if waves lapping a distant shore. This is very smooth, uncomplicated, deep, Progressive House perfect for relaxing with at the end of the day.

Recommended listening.

I am yet to hear a track I don’t like by Jerome Isma-Ae, and his recent release with long-time friend and producer Strobe is no exception. ‘Vila Nova 2014′ is the perfect sunset tune, complete with an instantly catchy guitar riff and smooth, groovy textures.
